Sarah commenced art studies at Adelaide Central School of Art and completed a Bachelor of Creative Arts and Industries (Honours) at Charles Darwin University in 2010. She has recently completed a Doctor of Philosophy in Visual Arts through Charles Darwin University, a project which involved a year's research under Professor Anne Berning at the Akademie für Bildende Künst in Mainz, Germany. Sarah is a member of Switchboard Studios, Norwood.
Sarah was awarded an Australian Post Graduate Scholarship for Doctoral Studies between 2011 - 2014. In 2013, she won the Travel Extra 'Best Curiosity' prize at the Saint Ignatius Art Show. She received the Northern Editions Post-Graduate Prize and was a Wyndham Estate People's Choice winner in 2010. In 2009 she won the Darwin Visual Art Association's Graduate Prize. Sarah has numerous paintings in private collections in Europe and Australia. She is represented in Adelaide by Amy Worth and in Darwin by Framed Gallery.
